BIKE MARKING AND REGISTERING

On Monday 18th August from 13:00 - 16:00 we will be holding a FREE bike marking event in Ankerside Shopping Centre, Castle Square. 

The event has been created to provide cycle security advice and offer security marking and registration onto the BikeRegister online database.

You MUST bring your bike with you to the event but please remember to push your bike. Do not ride through the shopping centre.

Please note that it can take approximately 10 mins to mark and register each bike.

Registering your bike helps police and retailers identify and verify the legitimate owner of bikes that have been stolen or are being resold. It can lead to both victims being reunited with their property and the identification of offenders.
